Amabuko Secondary School Students Hospitalised With Stomach Pains, Diarrhoea Now Stable
All 174 students from Amabuko Secondary School in Masaba, Kisii County, who had been admitted to various hospitals over food poisoning complications are in stable condition.
Masaba South sub-county Health director Dr. Evans Monda has confirmed that many of the students have been discharged with only a few remaining in hospital.
Dr. Monda added that the cause of the complications has however not been established as medics are still collecting samples of the food the students ate for laboratory examination.
Speaking to Egesa FM on Tuesday morning, Monda urged parents to remain calm and there is no reason for panic.
