New Twist As DCI Detectives Now Reveal Suspect In Eric Maigo Murder Case Is Not A Minor And Is Fit To Stand Trial
Anne Adhiambo Akinyi, the main suspect in the gruesome murder of Nairobi Hospital Acting Finance Director Eric Maigo is fit to stand trial.
This emerged on Wednesday following an age and mental assessment conducted at the Mathari Hospital in Nairobi which confirmed she is a Kenyan adult of sound mind contrary to earlier reports that she might have been a minor.
Adhiambo was presented before court on a miscellaneous application on the 27th of September, where the court granted the prosecution 21 days to hold her pending conclusion of investigations.
Sources privy to the investigation revealed that the age and mental assessment is set to be presented before court upon the lapse of the 21 days.
