Jonathan Mbithi Nzonga charged with forging documents to possess Nairobi land

A senior citizen who allegedly forged documents in 1992 to possess a parcel of land in Jamhuri, Nairobi, has been charged with forgery. Jonathan Mbithi Nzonga was charged on Thursday before Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Jacqueline Kahuya where he denied the charges. The court heard that the accused person committed the offence on August 16, 1992, at an unknown place within the Republic of Kenya with the intent to defraud and without any lawful authority. The accused person is said to have forged a letter of allotment purporting to be genuine and which had been made by the Nairobi City Commission in favour of Jonathan Mbithi.
