How Body Of Missing Utawala Taxi Driver Found, Police Seek 21 Days To Detain Wife
Police are now seeking to detain the woman suspected to be involved in the disappearance of her husband for 21 days after a body recovered in Murang’a was positively identified to be that of the missing taxi driver.
The body of Evans Mochara was found dumped in Maragua Dam in Murang’a County on October 14, two days after he went missing from his home in the Mihango area of Utawala.
His wife, Teresia Masese, was arrested a week later after filing a suspicious missing person report and she will now be charged with murder.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the police are meticulously analyzing phone call records and searching for potential accomplices to determine who was in contact with the deceased.
