Kajiado Women Rep Demands Action Against A Matatu Tout Who Assaulted A Female Passenger
The Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) has vehemently condemned the recent assault of a female passenger by a matatu tout along Thika Road and has called upon the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome to swiftly implement necessary arrests and investigations.
In a resolute statement, KEWOPA chairperson and Kajiado woman representative Leah Sankaire denounced the heinous act and urged the police IG to ensure a thorough and unbiased investigation, culminating in the culprit being charged under the applicable laws.
