Kenya’s construction sector plays a pivotal role in the nation’s economy, contributing approximately 7% to its GDP, as reported by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.

In line with the industry’s remarkable growth, Big 5 Construct Kenya, which opened today, unites local and international construction stakeholders to support the development of upcoming and ongoing projects in the country.

The opening was followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was graced by the presence of Nikolitsa Pantazopoulou, Honorary Consul of Greece in Kenya; Giuseppe Manenti, Director at the Italian Trade Agency; and Ben Greenish, Senior Vice President at dmg events, the organizers of Big 5 Construct Kenya, joined by construction industry representatives from Kenya.

The event showcases cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices, enabling construction professionals in Kenya to easily incorporate these solutions into their ongoing projects to improve performance,” said Greenish.

As Kenya aims to enhance its construction and infrastructure sectors, Big 5 Construct Kenya, the largest construction event in the country, presents a valuable chance to establish new partnerships and attract investments for a wide range of upcoming and ongoing projects.
