How Linda Wambani Named New Safaricom Secretary After Kathryne Maundu Resigns
Safaricom Company Secretary Kathryne Maundu has stepped down after nearly seven years in office.
According to a statement by the Company’s Board Chairperson Adil Khawaja on Friday, Ms Maundu tendered her resignation effective on Saturday.
While lauding Ms Maundu for her dedication during her tenure, the Board said she helped the telecommunication company achieve milestones and earned the Board's trust.
“Kathryn has served in the Board and its various committees for more than seven years. During this period, she has supported the Board in the implementation of its mandate in line with the laws and regulations in Kenya and the process has earned the Board's trust and appreciation,” stated Khawaja.
